Ring Size Guide

How to Find Your Ring Size

Finding your ring size doesn’t need to be complicated. All my rings use UK ring sizing, but the methods below will help you measure at home or convert from other systems. Once you know your approximate size, you can compare it with the conversion chart shown below the guide.

Measuring Your Ring Size at Home

Method 1 — Measure a Ring You Already Own

If you have a ring that fits the correct finger:

Place it on a ruler.

Measure the inside diameter in millimetres.

Compare that measurement with the chart below.

This is usually the most accurate at-home method.

Method 2 — Use a Paper Measuring Strip

If you don’t have a ring to measure:

Cut a thin, even strip of paper.

Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger.

Mark where the ends meet.

Measure the strip in millimetres — this is your finger circumference.

Tip:
If your knuckle is much wider than the base of your finger, measure both and choose a size that comfortably fits over the knuckle.

Method 3 — Use a Reusable Ring Sizer

A plastic ring sizer is inexpensive and ideal if you buy rings often or want higher accuracy. If you’d like a recommendation, just get in touch.

Factors That Affect Ring Sizing

A few natural variations can change how a ring fits:

Temperature: Fingers swell in heat and shrink when cold.

Time of day: Fingers are usually slightly larger later in the day.

Band width: Wider rings feel tighter; you may need to size up.

Knuckle size: If you have prominent knuckles, choose a size that passes over them comfortably.

A good fit should feel secure but not tight, and should rotate gently without slipping off.

Between Sizes?

If you fall between two sizes:

Choose the larger size for wide bands.

Choose the smaller size for slim, delicate bands.

Or send me your measurements and the ring style you’re interested in — I can advise the best option.

Some handmade rings can be resized after purchase, but not all (especially heavily textured, patterned, or stone set ring styles). If you’re unsure, just ask beforehand.
