These silver stud earrings are made from two overlapping slivers of sheet silver - one polished, one hammered with my tiny hammer. Together, they form a small X shape that reads like a cross - clean and balanced, with a contrast that’s quiet but deliberate.
 
The bar design is simple, but there’s tension in the details. One piece catches the light with a mirror-bright finish. The other is textured, and scattered with marks. This kind of mixed texture draws focus to the surface.
 
This is a piece that stays close to the ear and feels still, but considered. The X stud earring shape is sharp and minimal, almost architectural. If you want something that sits flat and wears easily while still showing contrast and form, this does the job.
 
You’ll also find a wire version of this design, and a hook earring version if you prefer a little more dimension or length. This stud version keeps things precise: straight lines, careful proportion, and just enough difference to be noticed.
 
Each pair is made by hand in my Scottish studio using recycled sterling silver. The process is slow and deliberate - every texture added one tap at a time, every piece cut and finished by hand. That’s what gives them their quiet individuality.
